Doni Greenblatt, L.C.S.W.

Doni Greenblatt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received his MSW from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work in New York. He began his professional work counseling individuals and families in North Miami Beach. Throughout his varied career Mr. Greenblatt worked with the chronically mentally ill population, facilitating psycho-educational groups both in partial hospitalization pro- grams as well as out-patient psychiatric facilities. Additionally he was a colleague team leader while providing case management services to dually diagnosed adults in day treatment centers.

Mr. Greenblatt returned to his roots working with older adults in various nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and social service agencies, providing care management services and coordinating in-home services. As a care manager most of his work involved providing home visits to seniors in the community. “Meeting with seniors in their home is most valuable. I am a big believer in “Aging in Place”. The aging process brings adjustment challenges and issues of loss. Seniors have enough changes and adjustments to deal with. Maintaining seniors in the comfort of their own home is beneficial when confronting these and other aging issues. In many instances it improves and preserves quality of life.”

“As a social worker I’ve had the opportunity to work with many different populations. But I found my passion and enjoyment working with seniors facing anxiety, depression and adjustment issues. Utilizing their life experience in our work is extremely valuable.”
